We ordered a bus connection to the train station, and it worked perfectly. It was waiting for us and as we only have carry-on luggage we were the first to get on. It was quite a way so a taxi might have been expensive and then there is the thing of trying to find one! It was good that they have these connection options, but they are unadvertised, so you have to ask! They tell you about the airport but not the train station.
The train was amazing! Almost 300 kph! Difficult to take pictures of the countryside but got a few.
A patchwork of various crops. The land was hilly, dry and almost dessert like in places but then it was green, then brown again. Quite a varied landscape in such a small area.
It was raining hard but everything except the roads still looked dry.
A tough shot at this speed! I just pointed without looking. Do not know what bird it was but it was nesting in the tops of poles.
Carla saw some rabbits, but they were small and went by too quickly.
A good example of the contrast in the farmed area and the almost dessert area around it.
It sped by so quickly but for a second or two we saw great views like this. Then we would go in a tunnel or into a low area, like a ditch. To keep the tracks relatively level, they cut through the ups and downs of the landscape so often all we could see was a wall of earth.

Nice that they had moving sidewalks. It was a long station.
The Station was modern on the inside but maintained the old facade.
